Child Evangelism Fellowship is a worldwide ministry started in 1937 with the purpose of evangelizing children with the gospel of Jesus Christ, discipling them in the faith, and establishing them in a local church. Our chapter is the Great River Chapter and we serve the Wright, Stearns, Kandiyohi, Meeker, McLeod, and Carver counties of Minnesota. We minister to kids by equipping teens and adults to share Christ effectively with children. Our three main ministries are 5-Day Club, Good News Club, and Christian Youth In Action.

5-Day Club is where we partner with individuals and churches who have a heart  to see their communities reached with the gospel. The individual or church invites kids to the 5-Day Club that they host in their backyard, local park, or wherever they want. We send a team of teens, trained as summer missionaries, to teach the club. They teach verses, games, songs, missionary stories, and most importantly, share the gospel with the kids who come to the club. Each club lasts an hour and a half for five days. It is a great way to reach out and share the love of Christ with kids and families in your neighborhood and community who may have never heard the gospel.

Christian Youth In Action is our training program for the teens who teach 5-Day Clubs. CYIA focuses on teaching teens how to confidently share the gospel with anyone. We also focus on growing teens in their leadership skills to prepare them to be leaders as they teach during the summer, and are involved in their youth groups, churches, schools, and friend groups. We help ground teens in their faith, help them build strong friendships with other teens who are passionate about serving Christ, and prepare them to share their faith with others.

Good News Club is an after school program where we partner with local churches to hold a club in the school that kids can attend once a week to play games, eat snacks, and learn about God. Good News Clubs are run by volunteers who work as a team to teach Bible lessons, verses, songs, and other fun things for the kids. This is a great opportunity to reach kids in your local elementary school who do not attend church. By teaching a GNC you can share the gospel with these kids, disciple them, and invite their families to attend your church.
